Camp Linley is located near Cultus Lake in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The site is often used for Viadrina events, and has even hosted a Crown War event.
In addition to a central communal area featuring a hall and an open field and fire pit, the site offers clear camping areas spaced throughout the site. The entire site is definitely on the rustic side. There are enclosed cabins (no beds or bedding) as well as tent spaces.

⚠ Note that if you try to use navigation to “Camp Linley” you will very likely get routed down the wrong road to the wrong location. Try navigating to the coordinates given above, or to 43811 Frost Road where the paved road ends (see Step 7 below). Otherwise, the following directions should also help:
Travel eastbound on #1 Trans-Canada Hwy exit 104 No. 3 Road. (travel south)
Follow No. 3 Road for 2km to Tolmie, turn right and immediately left back onto No. 3 Road for,
3km until you reach Yarrow Central Road and turn left (Note: Yarrow is going to be the one of the last places to buy provisions near the site).
Follow Yarrow Central Road for 3km, will turn into Vedder Mountain Road, and follow for 4.4km.
Turn right onto Columbia Valley Hwy/Cultus Lake Road. Follow for 3km until you reach a roundabout (Cultus Lake waterslides and amusement parks will be on either side), continue straight on the Columbia Valley Hwy for 8.8km until you reach Frost Road.
Turn Left onto Frost Road.
Follow Frost Road for roughly 7km (lots of twists and bends), site is just up the road from 43811 Frost Road address (end of the road, EMP sign/board will be at the entrance of the site)
You should begin seeing Camp Linley signs. Follow these on the dirt roads.
If you Take Vedder exit 119
Travel South on Vedder until you reach Cultus Lake Road.
Turn Left.
Continue with Step 5 above after this point.

Cabins: Enclosed with doors, not sealed, no beds or bedding, no heat or running water

Onsite parking: There are a few lots, and many of the tent/cabin sites have room for one to three cars depending how you park

Missing Amenities To Be Aware Of
No running water: Bring your own water supply. Onsite water is for fire safety only and not suitable for drinking or washing; you will get sick if you use it.
No electricity: Main hall has lights, but no power onsite.
No heating: Bring clothing and bedding appropriate to the weather. Open wood fires are only permitted in the single communal fire pit near the hall.
No bedding in cabins: The onsite cabins are enclosed with doors, but are essentially open spaces. Neither bed frames nor mattresses are provided. Bring your sleeping pads and bedding if you plan to use a cabin.
No showers, onsite or nearby
No onsite dumpsters/garbage: Pack it in; pack it out.
No hand sanitizer or washing supplies in/near bathrooms
Provisions are available before you reach the site, but they are not close by
Essentials to Bring
Bedding: not included in cabins
Toilet paper: may be provided, but bring your own in case
Hand sanitizer: no running water for sinks, no sanitizer in pit toilets
Lots of water: no running water onsite; bring ample water for drinking, cooking, and washing
Baby wipes or camp shower: if you need to bathe, there are no showers or running water
Appropriate clothing/bedding: no heated spaces onsite. Bring appropriate garb and bedding for the time of year. Open wood fires only permitted in the single communal fire pit near the main field and hall.
Garbage bags and space to load them: No onsite garbage/dumpsters. Strict pack-it-in-pack-it-out / leave-no-trace rules. Bring bags for your garbage, and leave room in your vehicle to haul them home.
Lots of ice: no power onsite or refrigerators/freezers to keep perishable foods cold.
First aid and medical supplies
Power, if you need it: no onsite electricity. Bring a generator if you need to power the lights in the hall, or a silent large-capacity power bank to power CPAP machines, phone chargers, or similar.
Personal light: the site gets dark and there is no onsite electricity. Bring a headlamp or flashlight, and spare batteries as needed.
Firewood if you plan to use the main fire pit.
Propane and stove/firepits if you need fire for cooking or heat in your camp.
Bug spray and/or bug repellent candles/torches (do not leave unattended) are recommended.
Site Rules
Open wood fires only permitted in the communal fire pit near the main field and hall.
Propane is oke anywhere else.
No open flames or heater use inside cabins.
Pack-it-in-pack-it-out / Leave No Trace. No onsite garbage or dumpsters. Take all trash out with you.
There are many hiking trails around the site. Pay attention to those leading into other reserved or private campsites, or private property.
No dogs permitted onsite. Registered service dogs permitted if accompanied by documentation.
Alcohol permitted in period containers.
No illegal substances.
Keep all food in airtight, closeable containers. There is lots of wildlife. Cabins are rustic and will not keep smaller, clever critters out.
