Friday at Crown War, 5pm-7pm: Field butchering with Mark the Miller at the Eitrmarr Camp in Stormhold.

This is a class for those who would like to see and learn how to properly skin and butcher an animal using only a knife, the medieval way.

The animals will have been humanely slaughtered off-site, but this is not a class for the faint of heart. Minors are welcome to watch and ask questions, but cannot participate in the knife work.

Mark the Miller discloses in the comments of the original post that he is not a professional butcher or professional meat cutter by trade, but operates a small farm and processes his own animals. The goal of the class is to pass on his own experience to teach the basics of butchering as he’s learned them.
