The Lionheart Crusaders is a Medieval/Fantasy recreational group focused on the Culture, Customs, Arts, and Daily Life of a Crusader Contingent split off of the main army of Richard I on The Third Holy Crusade. After Richard I and the bulk of his army departed for England, this contingent remained in the Holy Land for many months to maintain the footholds they had created, before returning to Normandy at a later date.

The goal of The Lionheart Crusaders is to bring together people and interests in a friendly cohesive manner to enjoy camps and events within the Empire of Medieval Pursuits and outside as an official representative of the Empire and all its activities.
