I, Capitán de Ventura Samuel Archer de Venecia, believe that no person should go unchallenged for the highest office in Ardesca. So as of penning this letter, with the current Crown’s approval, I hereby announce my running for Crown.
I wish to bring changes to how challenges are down and try to revitalize the map and territory game. I will also be making some cosmetic changes to certain terms and titles as well, for the theme I’m striving for is 1400s Italian warring city states. As such the two big events that Crown helps run will have a variation to it as well. Winter War, if there is no usurpers, will become a grand tournament, with teams and champions fighting for prizes. Crown War, will become a multi hour long resurrection battle with objectives to take and hold and carry back to your base.
But enough about the martial aspect, I also want to bring to light the arts and sciences and services that citizens do every day to help the kingdom run as smoothly as it does. I will be talking to lords/ladies/head of branches to see who’s helping run events, and other minutia, to help out their respective branches. I would like to call each person, who helped run events, and be sure to thank them properly during court. And also to make sure to properly thank each hosting branch in terms of gifts and largess. For those that make works of art I would like to make a roaming art gallery. At each event I would like to see what the hosting branch can produce, in terms of visual art, and display it proudly. Those that master the spoken word, I would like to produce the Library of Ardesca, where those that write stories, poetry, songs, and give lectures, can store their respective works for future students and artisans to draw inspiration from their collected works.
I will be more than happy to discuss any plans and ideas with those that want to. My doors are always open to those who want to talk about the future of our Grand Kingdom.
Yours in service,
Capitán de Ventura Samuel Archer de Venecia
