Ragnaroc 17

  • Sand Road Bellingham, WA USA (map)
At Ragnaroc 2014. An Empire of Medieval Pursuits (EMP) event.

***Date is subject to change***

Join us for the annual celebration of Ragnaroc. Fierce battles of steel and rattan spaced over two days culminating in an epic Ring of Fire where the fire giant Surtr will make one last stand and have to be beaten back.

Fight to save the world from the fire giant Surtr and the hordes of Loki, or bring down the wicked Aesir and the false gods of men in a battle at the gate of the BiFrost bridge and grandest forest in the Nine Worlds. Fulfill your aspirations of godhood by being appointed or fighting for the roles of Odin, Thor, Loki, Heimdall, and others. Help decide who will be next years Surtr at the end of the Ring of Fire as they emerge from the Phoenix's Flame to be crowned victorious.

Battle your rivals in massed combat using many kinds of weaponry and armor. Take part in contests of individual skill: Archery, steel, heavy weapons and specialty tournaments.

Later celebrate your victories around the campfire or pass your evening drumming and dancing under canvas canopies or stars.

Gain wisdom and skill, learn at the feet of the masters or impart your own gems in the arts of peace and war.
