Ardesca's Imperial Fibre Arts Guild in conjunction with the Abbey welcomes all who desire to learn and create with us.
We will be hosting an afternoon to evening project night creating a St. Birgitta Cap. This is a free event, but if you would like to leave with a project in hand, you will need to bring linen in the appropriate weight and amount. Handkerchief weight (light) in white is best. Half a yard will do.
Linara will also be covering veils and wimples. In terms of how to make them and what would have been worn in different time periods and classes; with an emphasis on Western European wear.
